Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a detail-focused finance professional to support SEC reporting and related external financial statements. The role collaborates with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate GAAP-compliant filings and footnotes, while maintaining strong documentation and control processes.

The position emphasizes on-site work in the finance department, with opportunities to contribute to annual and quarterly reporting, 401(k) and foreign statutory filings, and audit support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in external audit, accounting, or related field.
• Advanced U.S. GAAP knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Public accounting experience or progress toward CPA certification preferred.
• External reporting internship or work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft SEC-compliant financial statements, footnotes, and external reporting documents under U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare SEC filings (8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, 3, 4); proxy statements; Conflict Minerals filings.
• Develop quarterly Board, committee, and internal financial reporting materials.
• Prepare annual 401(k) and foreign statutory reporting documentation.
• Manage audit requests for financial statements and statutory audits.
• Maintain process flows, narratives, and control matrices for financial controls.
