NBCUniversal in California seeks a Senior Manager, External Affairs to lead local government relations and external communications for Universal Studios Hollywood. This role drives proactive engagement with officials and industry groups, shaping strategies to support park operations and corporate priorities.

You will collaborate with UD Destination & Experiences, Comcast and NBCUniversal teams to develop and deliver local government relations programs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of legislative, community relations, government, or external affairs experience.
• Strong judgment and the ability to identify, assess and remediate external affairs strategies.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize issues management.
• Effective verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact with and influence all levels of the organization, community organizations and elected officials effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Research, track and provide briefing papers on local ordinances and state legislation affecting tourism and park operations.
• Partner with business units on local issues and response efforts for USH.
• Manage relationships with business and industry associations throughout Los Angeles and California.
• Support park initiative strategies including community impact and neighborhood engagement.
• Engage with regulatory agencies at local and state levels to ensure operational compliance.
