Job summary

A leading electric vehicle manufacturer in California is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Exterior Trim to own the design and development of exterior trim systems. The selected candidate will lead the design process ensuring cost, quality, and timing targets are met. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring robust designs through validation activities. Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in automotive exterior systems.
• Experience taking components from concept through SOP.
• Ability to drive root-cause problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design and release of exterior trim parts and assemblies.
• Deliver exterior trim content to program cost and tooling targets.
• Lead cross-functional discussions to converge on solutions for exterior trim.
