Job summary

Advantage Technical is partnering with a leading electric vehicle manufacturer in Phoenix, AZ to hire a Senior Exterior Trim Engineer for a temporary role. You will own trim systems from concept to launch, balancing styling, function, and manufacturability, with CAD-driven design and data-informed decisions.

The position requires 5+ years of exterior trim design experience, CATIA V5/V6 proficiency, and knowledge of Class A surfaces and paint matching.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of exterior trim design experience across listed systems.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 or V6 for complex CAD modeling.
• Experience with thermoplastic/thermoset resins and Class A manufacturing, including paint.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, packaging, and release of exterior trim systems (valences, sill trims, splash shields, wheelhouse liners, spoilers, appliques, frunk/froot, rocker panels).
• Drive quality, reliability, mass, and cost efficiency, and collaborate with studio and vehicle engineering teams.
