Job summary

G-TECH Services LLC in Dearborn, MI seeks an experienced Design Release Engineer (DRE) to support the design, development, validation, and release of automotive exterior lighting systems including headlamps, taillamps, CHMSL, fog lamps, and license plate lamps.

You will lead design release activities, develop lighting CAD models using CATIA V5, 3DX, and Teamcenter, and perform optical engineering and manufacturing-focused design validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in automotive lighting design, development, or release engineering.
• Experience with CATIA, Teamcenter, and CAD modeling; knowledge of optical engineering and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and release activities for exterior lighting components.
• Develop and review lighting CAD models using CATIA V5, 3DX, and Teamcenter.
• Perform optical engineering and design-for-manufacturing activities.
