Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in safety or related field preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years' relevant experience.
• Applied knowledge of explosives safety laws, policies, regulations, rules, procedures, and methods.
• Experience with manufacture, storage, transportation, employment, and disposal of munitions, explosives, and energetic materials.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of explosives safety laws, policies, regulations, rules, procedures, and methods to advise policy.
• Assesses explosives and munitions safety programs for compliance with applicable laws and guidance.
• Advises explosives and munitions operations and logistics for continuous improvement in hazard reduction.
• Applies experience and knowledge of the means of preventing or reducing explosive mishaps.
• Assists in planning, developing, and coordinating presentation materials for meetings and conferences.
• Assists with the planning, preparation, and execution of meetings and conferences hosted by client.
• Supports Government teams working to maintain policy, procedure and technical standards.
