Job summary

CannonDesign seeks an Environmental Graphic Designer IV to lead and mentor teams across complex projects, translating client needs into compelling environmental graphics.

You will collaborate with interior designers and architects to elevate spaces, develop signage systems, and create experiential environments that align with Living-Centered Design. A strong portfolio and extensive experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Excellent design portfolio across Healthcare, Education, and Commercial sectors.
• Strong typography skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in fast-moving teams.
• Signage and wayfinding design knowledge.
• Deep understanding of experiential design.
• Strong client leadership and production team guidance on large projects.
• Proficiency in project management and attention to detail.
• Mac proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; Revit/SketchUp a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and design development across multiple projects.
• Mentor junior design team members on technical skills and storytelling.
• Share the team's work across internal and external platforms.
• Translate client needs into compelling concepts.
• Contribute to marketing pursuits and internal initiatives.
