CannonDesign is seeking an Environmental Graphic Designer IV in New York City. You will lead conceptual and design development across projects, mentor juniors, and translate client needs into compelling experiential concepts.

Required are 10+ years, a strong portfolio in healthcare/education/commercial sectors, and expert signage/wayfinding knowledge. Proficiency in Mac with Adobe Creative Suite; Revit/SketchUp a plus. Compensation includes benefits and potential bonuses.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field required.
• 10 years of related experience required.
• Portfolio with Healthcare, Education and Commercial projects preferred.
• Strong typography skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in fast-moving, complex teams.
• Strong knowledge of signage and wayfinding design and methodology.
• Deep understanding of experiential design.
• Strong client and production leadership for large, complex projects.
• High degree of latitude in work.
• Critical thinking, analytical skills and business acumen.
• Proficiency in project management.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency on Mac with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; Revit & SketchUp a plus.

• Lead conceptual and design development across multiple projects.

• Contribute to marketing pursuits and internal initiatives.
• Execute projects from strategy to storyboard to final design with confidence.
• Engage with curiosity, empathy, and intuition to clarify complex ideas.
• Design detailed solutions across media types.
• Develop documentation for graphic programs, wayfinding, donor recognition, and exhibits.
• Collaborate with vendors, fabricators and consultants to implement design.
