Job summary

The Office of Experience is seeking a Senior Designer to join the Experience Design Team in Chicago. You will lead end-to-end design for digital products, including enterprise websites, e‑commerce, portals and apps, partnering with UX, content, strategy and engineering to deliver polished, build-ready experiences.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of digital design experience with 2–3 years as a functioning senior designer in product/UX/UI/experience design
• A portfolio of shipped digital products showing process from framing to outcomes
• Expert-level Figma skills (components, variants, auto layout, prototyping) and modern tools
• Strong visual design fundamentals (typography, layout, color, hierarchy)
• Solid grounding in UX principles, usability heuristics and accessibility standards
• Experience designing within or contributing to a design system
• Working knowledge of front-end realities (responsive layouts, HTML/CSS) and collaboration with developers
• Confident presenting and defending work to clients and cross-functional teams
• Hands-on curiosity about AI-enabled design tools

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for features, flows and products from discovery to handoff
• Translate business goals and user data into clear design decisions
• Collaborate with UX on journeys, IA and information architecture
• Build interactive prototypes and test ideas early with stakeholders
• Contribute to and extend design systems with accessible patterns
• Design responsive, accessible experiences across web and mobile
• Collaborate with engineering through annotated specs and QA
• Extend brand identities across UI systems and interactions
• Present work to clients and facilitate workshops with leadership
• Use AI tools to accelerate ideation and prototyping and share findings with the team
• Mentor designers and peers through critique and feedback
