Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier progress for complex engineered equipment and large bulk commodity orders against contractual delivery milestones and manufacturing schedules
• Track supplier performance and identify potential delivery risks or schedule impacts and develop and implement recovery plans
• Manage and coordinate third‑party expeditors when assigned
• Proactively communicate anticipated delays to Supply Chain, Project and Client management
• Coordinate resolution of overages, shortages, and damages (OSD) with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Review project requirements and develop discipline specific staffing plan for review
• Provide guidance and support to junior supply chain team members as required
• Participate in weekly expediting meetings to align expectations and schedules
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date expediting status and reports using approved material management ERP system
• Have a strong understanding of supplier manufacturing processes, delivery risk, and contract‑driven milestones
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Adhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
• May need to travel to attend to business related matters
• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work‑related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years if non‑degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time‑effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to communicate fluently in English (read, write and speak)
• Working toward applicable professional certification(s) or license(s)
• Experience should be primarily in the area of material management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e‑mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs
• Good leadership and decision‑making skills
