Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking an Exhaust Systems Auxiliary Engineer in the United States to develop technical specifications and define requirements per Siemens Energy standards.

You will resolve issues in manufacturing or field operations and provide technical support throughout installation, commissioning, and warranty phases. The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, knowledge of gas turbine auxiliary systems, and the ability to work within a global engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline, plus 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of auxiliary gas turbine mechanical systems (air intake, enclosure, ventilation, firefighting).
• Ability to work in cross-functional, cross-product teams globally.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical specifications and verify supplier bids.
• Negotiate with suppliers and assess risk for Exhaust Gas system.
• Review designs and documentation, support procurement on technical issues.
• Coordinate with Lead Engineer, Customer, Procurement and others.
• Attend shop inspections, provide field support during installation and commissioning.
