Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking an Executive Protection Specialist to serve as the primary protection agent for the CEO, President, or VIP designee.

You will conduct advance work, develop security plans for travel and events, and coordinate with law enforcement and drivers to support all movements. The role requires independent work, strong judgment, and travel flexibility (domestic and international).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of practical security experience with a focus on protective operations.
• 2+ years in close protection or executive protection, ideally for dignitaries or executives.
• LEOSA permit to carry a concealed firearm and ability to pass suitability assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform threat assessments to mitigate risks for senior management.
• Coordinate protection details for domestic and international travel and events.
• Drive executives when required and provide emergency medical support.
• Liaise with law enforcement, VIPs, and security providers to ensure safety.
• Monitor security systems, preplan events, and maintain protective schedules.
• Complete incident and routine security documentation.
