MGM Springfield is seeking a Senior Executive Manager of Stewarding to lead the stewarding department across the property. You will oversee daily operations, ensure sanitation and safety standards, and drive back-of-house efficiency to support all food & beverage venues.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and at least 2 years of relevant leadership in stewarding. Open availability is required for this full-time role at MGM Springfield.

The Executive Steward leads and develops a team of stewards, maintains compliance with health and safety regulations, and drives efficient back-of-house operations that contribute to exceptional guest experiences. **THE DAY-TO-DAY:** * Oversee daily operations in the stewarding department to ensure departmental strategic goals and intent are being met and exceeding expectations.* Achieve all service, financial and human resources goals set forth by the management.* Manage Human Resources responsibilities to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; compliance with company and department policies, and legal requirements.* Assist in reviewing monthly department P & L and budget. Analyze and address areas concern and define needs for improvement. Find ways to improve P & L results and communicate with stewarding managers accordingly to implement changes and plans of action.* Maintain staffing levels within department allocations.* Responsible for walk-through inspections of kitchen areas.
