Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking a skilled HR professional to join its Executive Compensation team in support of equity programs, deferred compensation and annual proxy materials. You will partner with business units to align compensation with the company’s philosophy and drive executive performance.

The role requires strong Excel skills, analytical capabilities, and effective communication with executives. Location options include Akron, Greensburg or Reading; CCP/CECP certification is preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or related discipline with 4–7 years of experience.
• Proficient Excel, PowerPoint and Word; strong analytical and communication skills.
• CCP or CECP certification preferred; experience with equity programs and 409A is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support administration of equity award programs (LTIP, RSU, RSA).
• Assist with the Executive Deferred Compensation Plan and related guidelines.
• Prepare materials for the Compensation Committee and proxy statements.
• Develop ad-hoc reports and conduct market analysis on executive compensation.
