Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred and related management experience.
• Bachelor’s in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred.
• Three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience.
• Experience planning and managing catering events from a culinary perspective.

Job Summary

As a Senior Executive Chef, you will lead culinary operations, ensuring that food production is trendy, efficient, safe, and sanitary. Your duties include menu development, inventory control, purchasing, food cost management, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high culinary standards for retail, board meals, dining, and catering operations
• Train, develop, and inspire the local culinary team
• Lead corporate social responsibility, food seasonality, health/wellness initiatives, and high‑quality culinary arts on campus
• Analyze performance and trends in the local operation and lead improvements
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of daily menu items and explain them to customers accurately

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred
• Three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
• Experience planning and managing catering events from a culinary perspective
• Strong leadership skills and desire to work with an industry leader
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, internet)
• Excellent communication at all levels, including management, departmental, customer, and associate
• ServSafe Certification
