Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Senior Exchange Integration Engineer to bridge development and production, serving as the SME for Microsoft Exchange across isolated, high-security networks. You will architect, test, validate configurations, and lead rollout and lifecycle maintenance in production environments.

You will mentor junior admins, resolve escalations, and collaborate with external agency technicians to diagnose complex access issues in DoW tenants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–8 years of direct experience with Microsoft Exchange Server engineering, Windows Server administration, and enterprise-level production support.
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the classified environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning, design, building, and deployment of Exchange Server across labs and production.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for complex messaging issues in production on classified networks.
• Perform IAVA testing to validate security patches before deployment.
• Maintain end-to-end mail flow across isolated networks and troubleshoot routing issues.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell to monitor health and mail flow.
• Create SOPs and provide training to Tier 1/2 staff.
• Coordinate with DISA for DoW cloud-tenancy issues and reproduce scope with external technicians.
• Manage AD, PKI, Group Policies, and Windows Server dependencies for Exchange ops.
