IAT Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Excess Casualty Wholesale Underwriter to join the Excess Casualty Market team. The role involves underwriting profitability, maintaining broker relationships, and applying advanced loss analysis for pricing decisions.

Qualified candidates have a strong background in Excess and Surplus lines, agency management, and excellent communication skills. Hybrid work from a Central US office with some remote work and travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of relevant experience or the equivalent.
• Knowledge of Excess and Surplus is required.
• Ability to apply loss development and advanced loss analysis concepts to pricing.
• Creatively utilize coverage features, deductibles, or reinsurance to meet objectives.
• Agency management is a must.
• Strong math aptitude and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with PC-based tools and internet programs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Wholesale surplus lines experience or industry designations preferred.
