Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Texas Driver's License with proper endorsements, depending on assignment.
• Three or more years related construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate crawler or rubber-tired machine with excavator bucket for ditches, structures and mass excavation.
• Assist with loading trucks and placing rock riprap while maintaining safety procedures.
• Signal truck drivers to position loads and perform routine machine adjustments and maintenance.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Lead by example and cooperate with team to achieve department goals.
