Job summary

Quoris is seeking an Exasol Data Engineer to support a healthcare analytics engagement with deep SQL engineering, healthcare data structures, and value-based care programs. The role involves building, optimizing, and validating data pipelines in an Exasol environment.

You will reconcile extracts with medical records, apply LOINC, ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, SNOMED CT, and RxNorm terminology, and deliver repeatable, well-documented solutions while working remotely in a contract through year-end.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL data engineering with healthcare analytics experience.
• Expert SQL with set-based logic, window functions, and tuning.
• Experience extracting/staging from SQL Server via JDBC.
• Chart validation with medical records and SMEs.
• Knowledge of LOINC, ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, SNOMED CT, RxNorm.
• Understanding of quality measures and value sets (VSAC/NCQA).
• Dev best practices including version control, peer review, and repeatable deployment.
• U.S. work eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize complex SQL queries on Exasol or similar platforms.
• Extract and stage data from SQL Server sources via JDBC.
• Perform chart validation against medical records with SMEs.
• Apply knowledge of healthcare terminologies (LOINC, ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, SNOMED).
• Support quality measure development for eligible populations and value sets.
• Leverage Exasol in-database compute, Python UDFs, and BucketFS.
• Work with claims data structures (837, 835, 834, CMS CCLF).
• Maintain disciplined engineering practices and repeatable deployment.
