Job summary

You will design and maintain production data pipelines into Exasol, with SQL Server and ETL processes supporting healthcare data, including PHI/HIPAA considerations. The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong SQL, and expertise with data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and performance optimization.

Immediate need for a talented Data Engineer. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in US(Remote).

Pay Range: $80 - $90/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location)

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: Data Engineer, Exasol, SQL Server, ETL
• Experience : 5+ years
• healthcare strongly preferred
• Existing Exasol platform with healthcare data flowing from Epic/Clarity/Caboodle, SQL Server and file-based sources into Exasol, with Tableau as a downstream analytics/visualization layer.
• Build and support production data pipelines into Exasol.
• Expert-level, set-based SQL including window functions, analytic functions, and MERGE.
• Build high-volume batch, incremental and change-data pipelines.
• Experience with SQL Server to analytics/data warehouse pipelines.
• Strong data warehouse/ETL/ELT experience.
• Experience working with PHI/HIPAA data in production.
• Production change management, deployment, rollback/restart and data integrity experience.
• Strong performance optimization and troubleshooting skills.
