Job summary

MasterClass is seeking an Events Manager to own live events end-to-end, starting with MasterClass Executive cohort sessions. You will manage weekly virtual sessions and multi-day in-person experiences, coordinating venues, AV, travel, and vendors while building a centralized events function for broader programs.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in event management, strong production and budgeting skills, and comfort using event tech and AI tools to optimize operations and learner experiences.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in event management or experiential programming.
• Proven live virtual and multi-day in-person production experience.
• Strong vendor, venue, AV, and budget management skills.
• Excellent project management and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production of live virtual sessions and in-person events.
• Plan venues, production, AV, vendors, travel, and on-site execution.
• Manage the events calendar and instructor availability across time zones.
• Coordinate with instructors, practitioners and their teams for seamless experiences.
• Develop scalable run-of-show templates and post-event workflows.
• Oversee budgets, contracts, and negotiations for events.
• Collaborate with Community, Marketing, Product and channel leads to drive attendance.
• Leverage data and AI tools to improve programming and scale Events.
