Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking a results-driven Event Fundraiser to lead strategy, planning, and execution of a $400,000+ fundraising portfolio. This remote role supports donor, sponsor, and volunteer engagement while advancing long-term impact.

The ideal candidate has at least a Bachelor's degree and 2 years in fundraising, with strong relationship-building, project management, and communication skills. Travel for events and evening/weekend meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required;2 years successful experience in fundraising and relationship development.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning and execution of event fundraising activities, including logistics, budgets, vendor coordination, and experience delivery.
• Develops and executes strategies to grow revenue, participation, and donor pipeline within assigned portfolio.
• Aligns event participants and partners to broader organizational engagement opportunities to deepen long-term impact.
• Monitors performance against goals, adjusting strategies to optimize revenue and ROI.
• Coordinates cross-functional partners to ensure successful event delivery and brand alignment.
