American Cancer Society seeks a skilled fundraiser to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of a $400,000+ event fundraising portfolio. This remote role prefers candidates within commuting distance to Richmond, VA, and offers benefits including PTO, medical, dental, retirement, and professional development programs.

You will build relationships with donors, sponsors, and volunteers, drive revenue through engagement, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure engaging event experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree required; two years of successful fundraising and relationship development experience preferred.
• Strong donor cultivation and leadership skills relevant to events and sponsorships.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Leads planning and execution of event fundraising activities including logistics, budgets, vendor coordination, and experience delivery.
• Develops strategies to grow revenue, participation, and donor pipeline within the portfolio.
• Aligns event participants and partners to broader engagement opportunities to deepen long-term impact.
• Monitors performance against goals and adjusts strategies to optimize revenue and ROI.
• Coordinates cross-functional partners to ensure successful event delivery and brand alignment.
• Must be able to attend evening and weekend meetings and events remotely or in-person depending on portfolio.
