Job summary

Arizona State University’s Pat Tillman Veterans Center seeks an organized Events and Business Services Manager to lead planning, coordination and execution of signature events and ongoing engagement programs. You will collaborate with internal teams, external partners and campus units to advance PTVC’s mission and veteran student success.

Based at the Pat Tillman Veterans Center, this in-person role requires managing budgets, procurement and vendor relations while supporting broader business

Qualifications

• Experience planning and executing events in higher education, nonprofit, or veteran-serving environments.
• Ability to manage multiple events from concept to evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of event logistics including venue, catering, A/V, and day-of execution.
• Experience with event budgets and tracking expenses.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute PTVC signature events and related programs.
• Develop and maintain an annual event calendar with leadership.
• Manage project timelines, staffing, vendor coordination, and post-event follow-up.
• Coordinate cross-team goals and stakeholder needs in event planning.
• Oversee event logistics, including space, catering, A/V, and registration.
