We're seeking an experienced Senior Event Marketing Manager to join our Global Events Team (GET) to lead the AWS Americas Summits Expo program. These strategic regional events unite the cloud computing community, drawing technical professionals and business leaders from across commercial and public sector industries.
As Senior Event Marketing Manager for Americas Summits, you'll drive the Expo experience strategy, planning, and execution. You'll design innovative expo environments that educate customers, engage AWS partners, and deliver measurable business results. Success requires strategic vision, strong project management skills, and the ability to influence global stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines creative and analytical thinking with proven expertise in both strategy and execution. You'll need strong leadership capabilities and the ability to influence without authority, building effective relationships with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders. We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, excels at problem-solving, and consistently delivers results in fast-paced environments.
Success in this role requires thinking globally while acting locally, understanding diverse market needs and cultural nuances throughout the Americas region. The candidate must bring deep expertise in exhibition management, space optimization, and project management. They will be responsible for managing substantial budgets while maintaining high standards for exhibitor and attendee experiences. The successful candidate will also bring a customer-obsessed mindset, constantly seeking ways to enhance exhibition experiences and drive meaningful business outcomes through innovative expo design and execution.
The AWS Global Events team develops and delivers influential events that demonstrate AWS's thought leadership, drive innovation, and foster growth. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
