Job summary

FMI – The Food Industry Association in Arlington, VA is seeking a Senior Manager, Event Marketing to lead multi-channel campaigns for FMI’s event portfolio, driving attendee acquisition and revenue growth.

You will develop strategic marketing plans, manage end-to-end campaigns, collaborate with internal teams, measure performance, and optimize websites, digital marketing, and partnerships to elevate FMI's brand and non-dues revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, Master’s is a plus.
• 7–9 years of experience in events marketing.
• Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, HubSpot, HTML, Adobe, Photoshop, and digital marketing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic marketing plans for event revenue objectives.
• Lead integrated marketing campaigns driving attendee acquisition and sponsorship engagement.
• Oversee end-to-end campaign development, timelines, content, and assets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to align messaging with trends.
• Manage timelines and campaigns using Asana and other tools; report results.
• Optimize event websites, digital initiatives, ads, and media partnerships.
