Job Overview

Join the team at Hilton Anatole in Dallas, TX! We are seeking a Senior Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of large, intricate multi-day group events. This role offers a unique chance to be part of the only Hilton Managed property in Dallas.

What will I be doing?

As a Senior Event Manager, you will be responsible for executing written sales agreements for large-scale and complex full-service meetings, conventions, and events, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing written sales agreements for large-scale meetings with over 300 room nights
  • Negotiating vendor and service agreements
  • Maintaining relationships with clients and hotel departments
  • Communicating event details including payment, room blocks, F&B, and billing
  • Partnering with operations departments
  • Monitoring team performance and providing development and recognition
  • Assessing service trends and implementing improvements
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and training team members
What are we looking for?
  • At least 2 years of hotel event management experience at a large property
  • Experience with Delphi, Amadeus, Salesforce, or FDC preferred
  • Experience with forecasting group business and billing is highly preferred
