Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Senior Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of our flagship summits and high-touch experiences. The ideal candidate will bring deep event logistics expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional attendee experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end event planning and execution for multiple summits per year, ranging from 200–250 attendees.
• Manage event timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and on-site logistics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align event goals with company objectives.
• Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with venues, caterers, A/V providers, and other vendors.
• Oversee registration process, technology platforms, and attendee communications.
• Supervise and mentor junior event staff or contractors as needed.
• Ensure each event reflects the Inversion Summits brand, with a focus on high-quality design, programming, and hospitality.
• Travel to event sites as needed for on-site coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in event planning, ideally with conferences, summits, or corporate events.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale, high-touch events from concept to execution.
• Exceptional project management and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
• Proficiency with event software, budgeting tools, and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel several times per year and work occasional evenings/weekends during event periods.

Preferred

• Experience working at an investment conference or in hotel conference management.
• Familiarity with luxury, leadership, or executive-level event audiences.
• Background in hospitality, production, or experience design is a plus.
