Job summary

American Cancer Society seeks a dynamic fundraiser to lead strategy, planning and execution of a multifaceted event portfolio in California. You will manage donor, sponsor, and volunteer relationships to drive revenue and engagement while coordinating across teams to deliver high-quality events.

The role requires at least a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of fundraising experience, with strong planning, communication, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of fundraising and relationship development experience.
• Demonstrated success driving revenue through donors and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Builds and manages relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and partners to achieve revenue goals and increase engagement.
• Leads planning and execution of event fundraising activities including logistics, budgets, vendor coordination, and experience delivery.
• Develops strategies to grow revenue, participation, and donor pipeline within assigned portfolio.
• Aligns event participants and partners to broader engagement opportunities to deepen impact.
• Monitors performance against goals and adjusts strategies to optimize revenue and ROI.
• Coordinates cross-functional partners to ensure successful event delivery and brand alignment.
