Job summary

Town and Country Event Rentals in San Diego, CA is seeking an Event Director to drive sales and manage key accounts while ensuring top-tier client satisfaction. You will lead installation crews, coordinate events, and participate in preproduction through on-site execution.

The role requires acquiring new customers, maintaining relationships, delivering exceptional service, and overseeing orders. A flexible schedule with weekends is expected in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of sales within the Event Rental Industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Must have a valid CA driver's license with good driving record
• Rental equipment knowledge including tents, lighting, tables and chairs

Responsibilities

• Acquire and develop new customers by direct contact
• Maintain and grow client relationships for long-term account sales
• Develop additional business through exceptional customer service and rapport building
• Prepare and execute customer sales orders
• Involve in creative aspects of event design
• Fully participate in preproduction, production, and installation for events
• Oversee and direct drivers and helpers for installation and setup
• Maintain record keeping and reporting of all sales activities
• Attend required sales meetings and training sessions
• Compose and respond to correspondence in a timely manner
• Travel throughout Southern California to event locations
• Manage a book of business
