Job summary

Freebee, a Miami-based on-demand electric transport provider, seeks a Fleet Maintenance Technician to support the safety, upkeep, and performance of its 300+ EV fleet. You will perform routine and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics, and manage parts inventory to ensure daily operations run smoothly.

The role requires a High School diploma, a Florida driver’s license, experience in vehicle maintenance, and the ability to pass MVR/background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance, including diagnostics and electrical systems.
• Pass MVR and background check.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• ASE certifications are preferred.
• Automotive background and training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance, safety inspections, and diagnostics for fleet vehicles.
• Manage parts inventory and track stock levels, pending orders, and future parts requirements.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing with drivers, managers, and external vendors.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and document all maintenance activities.
• Develop maintenance strategies to improve vehicle performance and safety.
