Job summary

EVgo is seeking a Sr. Staff Construction Project Manager in Washington, DC to lead the most complex EV charging construction programs.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality from NTP to commissioning, mentoring mid-level PMs and shaping EVgo’s construction standards. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with utilities, AHJs, and vendors, ensuring adherence to NEVI, DOE, and state funding rules while advancing EVgo’s nationwide charging expansion and fast deployment

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's, or 8 years with a Master's, or PhD with >5 years.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with EV charging or electrical infrastructure construction.
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the most complex EV charging construction projects from NTP through commissioning.
• Develop advanced execution strategies for challenging sites and multi-stakeholder land arrangements.
• Drive cost and schedule management and mitigate risks across projects; escalate as needed.
• Ensure compliance with public funding documentation for NEVI, DOE, and state grants.
