Job summary

Express Employment Professionals seeks a Lead European Automotive Diagnostic Technician in Brandon/Valrico, FL. You will diagnose and repair complex issues on European vehicles, using factory tools and OE data, and perform thorough DVIs and road tests to ensure repair quality.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of hands-on European vehicle experience, strong electrical troubleshooting skills, and own a well-equipped toolbox. ASE certs preferred; valid license required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing European vehicles.
• Experience in a European specialty shop, independent repair facility, or dealership.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues on European vehicles.
• Work with makes including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Volvo, and Mini.
• Use factory-level diagnostic software and scan tools such as ISTA, XENTRY, ODIS, Autel, or similar platforms.
• Interpret fault codes, wiring diagrams, technical data, and manufacturer repair information.
• Perform electrical testing and isolation to accurately identify vehicle issues.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
• Perform road tests before and after repairs to verify concerns and ensure repair quality.
• Handle mechanical repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostic findings and completed repairs.
