Job summary

AES Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Analyst, ETRM & Position Reporting to support, maintain, develop, and deliver information systems for the AES Clean Energy commercial business. The role will interact with commercial and IT teams, build tools for position/market monitoring, support trading, and help model exposures in the ETRM system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Sciences, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant energy industry experience.
• Experience supporting ETRM systems (Allegro preferred).

Responsibilities

• Interface with the Commercial and IT teams on items related to the ETRM.
• Work with the Commercial Teams to develop and maintain internal and external tools for position / market monitoring.
• Work with the Product Control team in building and supporting the commercial business.
• Work with the trading teams to capture and validate trade entry.
