Job summary

PwC is seeking a senior data engineer with 5+ years of hands-on ETL/ELT development to lead data integration initiatives. You will work with Informatica IICS/IDMC, CAI, CDI, and PowerCenter, migrating workloads to cloud-native platforms and optimizing Snowflake/Databricks data warehouses.

Strong Python skills, SQL proficiency, and Spark experience are required. You will collaborate with data architects and analysts within an Agile team, focusing on performance, cost optimization, and secure data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ETL/ELT development and data integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS/IDMC, CAI and CDI, and Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience migrating ETL workloads from PowerCenter to IICS/IDMC cloud-native platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake/Databricks, including data modeling, optimization, and query tuning.
• Working knowledge of Databricks and Apache Spark for data processing and transformation.
• Experience with API integration and middleware using Informatica CAI.
• Proficient in Python for automation and data transformations.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines integrating Snowflake with diverse sources via IICS.
• Design/ develop/ unit test complex mappings/workflows/tasks using IICS, IDMC, and PowerCenter.
• Collaborate with data architects to translate business requirements into technical specs and design.
• Knowledge of Snowflake data objects and features (sharing, events, lake-house).
• Familiar with data security and data access controls.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP data storage technologies.
