Job summary

CTG is seeking a Data Engineer - Data Integration for our client in Atlanta, GA. You will design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions, focusing on Informatica PowerCenter, data warehouses, and data quality.

This 4-month contract requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, and a proven ability to translate business needs into scalable data integration pipelines. Excellent communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, ETL, or related roles.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing, business intelligence, and data integration.
• Experience with data profiling, data quality, reconciliation, and source system analysis.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Build and support data integration processes for enterprise data warehouses and regulatory reporting.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable ETL solutions.
• Perform data profiling, source system analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Optimize ETL workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures, production issues, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks.
• Perform root cause analysis and impact analysis for source system changes.
• Document data mappings, business rules, ETL processes, and technical solutions.
