Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Banking, Treasury, Finance, or Regulatory Reporting domain experience.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end data processing, data models, and data distribution frameworks.
• Experience with Data Quality and Data Governance initiatives.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and leading technical discussions.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and operational best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for critical production ETL applications and data pipelines.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within SLA commitments.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data integration solutions.
• Translate business requirements into high-level and detailed technical designs.
• Collaborate with Information Architecture, Business Analysts, and development teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Drive BAU enhancements, defect remediation, and production support activities.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance to offshore teams.
• Support audit, compliance, data quality, and governance initiatives.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with L1/L2 support, QA, infrastructure, and upstream/downstream partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
• Mentors other software engineers and coach team on CI/CD practices and automating tool stack.
• Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Automates manual release activities.
• Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
