Job summary

WorldStrides seeks a Senior ETL Engineer to design and maintain enterprise data pipelines, lakehouse, and warehouse solutions. The role emphasizes an AI-first mindset, with AI agents handling routine execution while the engineer defines design, specifications, and reviews.

Work with stakeholders from problem framing through delivery, shaping data models and standards for analytics, reporting, and advanced use cases across the business.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience with SQL, relational databases, and data warehouse design.
• Proficiency in Python for ETL development, automation, and testing.
• Hands-on experience with DataOps, CI/CD, and automated testing for data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics and reporting.
• Shape data engineering standards and reusable patterns with the data architect.
• Lead data modeling for analytics performance and usability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and BI teams to drive data products.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate pipeline development and testing while maintaining quality.
