Job summary

AnaVation is seeking an experienced Senior ETL/Data Migration Engineer to lead high-complexity migration operations in Huntsville, Alabama. The role focuses on architecting, operating, and optimizing data pipelines moving data from legacy environments to cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with Cloud, Data, DevSecOps, DBAs, QA, and Product Owners to ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across large-scale migrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field plus 8+ years of ETL/data migration experience.
• Experience leading high-complexity ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale migrations.
• Strong experience with legacy systems, cloud ingestion, and multi-format data transformation.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and CI polygraph is required.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, multi-team environments supporting mission-critical delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for petabyte-scale data migrations.
• Lead operational execution of ETL tasks during migration cycles and validate data sequencing.
• Perform data quality checks, root-cause analysis, and governance across migration workstreams.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Data, DevSecOps, DBAs, QA, and Product Owners to ensure seamless pipeline integration.
