Job summary

Peraton in Chantilly, VA seeks a senior systems engineer to lead secure cloud architectures and AI/ML data pipelines. A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required, with extensive experience in AWS, virtualization (Docker/Kubernetes), and graph databases.

You will design scalable solutions, craft architecture diagrams, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex tech into business value. Candidates should have 12+ years with BS, or 10+ with MS, or 7+ with PhD, with additional work history

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.; an additional four years of work history may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking.
• Experience with AWS Services (architecture, security, scalability).
• Understanding of ETL pipelines associated with AI/ML algorithms and their relation to data flow and driving business value.
• Implementation and operation of virtualization software (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience implementing cloud infrastructure in high security environments.
• Experience crafting data visualizations/system diagrams/architecture documentation.
• Knowledge of neo4j graph database technologies, cypher query language.
• Systems engineering support for AI/ML, LLM development projects.
• Programming experience in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
