Job summary

Nevell Group, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator for our Concord, CA preconstruction team.

You will develop accurate and competitive estimates for large-scale commercial wall system projects, analyzing drawings, specs, and documents to determine project costs and drive profitability. The Senior Estimator will lead estimating initiatives, mentor junior staff, and collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure successful bids and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating, preferably in wall systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed estimates for interior and exterior wall system projects.
• Interpret and analyze plans, specs, and contract documents to define project scope.
• Develop quantity take-offs, pricing strategies, and bid proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients during preconstruction.
• Analyze historical cost data and market conditions for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Manage bid schedules, subcontractor outreach, and vendor coordination.
• Identify risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Mentor and develop junior estimators within the team.
