Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Estimator with deep experience in utility infrastructure projects. This role manages the estimating process from opportunity identification through final bid submission for utility, transmission, distribution, and civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, performing quantity takeoffs, analyzing pricing, and developing competitive bid packages while pursuing new opportunities and coordinating with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating transmission utility infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting utility clients such as FPL, Duke, NextEra, or similar utility organizations.
• Strong knowledge of transmission systems, distribution systems, utility relocations, and foundations.
• Software experience with Bluebeam and Procore.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications for utility projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed project estimates.
• Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Prepare competitive bid packages and proposals.
• Identify and pursue new bidding opportunities.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal project teams during the bid process.
• Develop estimates for utility, transmission, distribution, and related infrastructure projects.
