Job summary

JK Talent Advisors is seeking a Senior Estimator for a leading heavy civil construction firm in California. The role focuses on cost estimation and bid proposals for large earthwork and underground utilities projects, with emphasis on accuracy and competitiveness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience estimating large earthwork and underground utility projects including water, sewer, and storm drains.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred but not required.
• Experience with estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, HCSS HeavyBid, Bid2Win, Bluebeam Revu).
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Estimation & Bidding: Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for earthwork and underground utilities on large infrastructure projects and develop preliminary project schedules.
