Job summary

Jack Morton Worldwide seeks a Senior Estimator (Events & Experiential) to join our team in the Addison, IL region or remote. You will develop accurate, competitive project estimates for trade shows, exhibits, and permanent installations, collaborating with Sales, Design, Production and Fabrication to ensure scope and budget alignment.

The role requires 5+ years in exhibits or related fields, strong analytical skills, CAD/architectural review experience, and advanced Excel capabilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for trade shows, exhibits, experiential environments, branded activations, and permanent installations
• Analyze proposals, renderings, CAD drawings, specifications, and design documentation to perform accurate quantity take-offs and cost evaluations
• Partner with Sales, Project Management, Design, Production, and Fabrication teams to validate project scope, assumptions, risks, and opportunities
• Identify cost-saving strategies and value-engineering opportunities while maintaining design intent and quality standards
• Review and evaluate estimates generated by project teams to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Collaborate with strategic suppliers and fabrication partners to obtain pricing and assess project feasibility
• Maintain and improve estimating tools, cost databases, and pricing resources
• Prepare estimate presentations and supporting documentation for internal and client-facing reviews
• Analyze trends, historical costs, and production data to improve forecasting and estimating accuracy
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to estimators and cross-functional teams

We're looking for a Senior Estimator (Events & Experiential) who combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to help shape the success of our most complex and exciting projects. In this role, you'll partner with sales, project management, design, production, and fabrication teams to develop accurate, competitive, and comprehensive project estimates that support business growth and exceptional client experiences.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Estimator, you will be a trusted technical expert and collaborative partner throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for trade shows, exhibits, experiential environments, branded activations, and permanent installations
• Analyze proposals, renderings, CAD drawings, specifications, and design documentation to perform accurate quantity take-offs and cost evaluations
• Partner closely with Sales, Project Management, Design, Production, and Fabrication teams to validate project scope, assumptions, risks, and opportunities
• Identify cost-saving strategies and value-engineering opportunities while maintaining design intent and quality standards
• Review and evaluate estimates generated by project teams to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Collaborate with strategic suppliers and fabrication partners to obtain pricing and assess project feasibility

• Prepare estimate presentations and supporting documentation for internal and client-facing reviews
