Job summary

Henkels & McCoy West, LLC. is seeking an Estimator II to prepare timely and accurate bid estimates for medium to large projects, supporting BPA Master Service Agreement scopes and the Western United States.

This remote role requires travel to the Pacific Northwest (Portland, OR, Vancouver, WA) as needed, with preference for candidates in the Western states to enable collaboration. You will coordinate with project teams, review drawings, and help manage costs while aligning with H&M safety and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant estimating experience in utility, electrical, transmission & distribution, substation, or heavy civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and maintain detailed cost estimates and bid documentation for Transmission & Distribution and substation projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and customer requirements to develop accurate estimates.
• Travel to project sites to evaluate conditions and support estimate accuracy.
• Lead bid strategy discussions and support proposal development, pricing reviews, and customer presentations.
