Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the estimating group and deliver high-quality electrical estimates for complex projects.

The role involves developing project-specific estimates from PM directions and supervising Estimators and Trainees, including training in estimating systems. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial/industrial/high-tech sectors, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. BA/BS preferred.
• Experience: Seven (7) years of electrical estimating experience in commercial/industrial/high tech.
• Ability to lead and supervise Estimating team and provide training.

Responsibilities

• Create and communicate company standards for estimating electrical design/build and plans and specs work.
• May create, maintain and upgrade the company estimating system, database (units and prices) and assemblies.
• Communicate and partner with project managers and general contractors to ensure a high-quality estimate is delivered on time.
• Manage quotation process with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that pricing incorporates all scope items.
