RCP Construction, Inc. is seeking an Estimator/Preconstruction Manager in a hybrid role serving the Greater Sacramento and SF Bay Area.

You will develop accurate cost estimates, lead preconstruction planning, and coordinate with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to position projects for success. The ideal candidate has a strong commercial construction estimating background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive early decision-making to optimize budget, schedule,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
• 5–8 years of commercial construction estimating experience including preconstruction management
• Proficient with estimating software and common Office tools
• Strong knowledge of codes, means and methods, and industry best practices
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, and hard bid estimates for multiple market sectors
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing based on data and market conditions
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
• Lead preconstruction efforts from inception through final estimates
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams
