Job summary

Manhattan Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts and drive estimates within MCC standards. You will compile takes and pricing, develop bid strategies, and ensure budget adherence while collaborating with client teams.

The role emphasizes strong communication, adaptability, and ownership of deliverables. This position supports our community‑facing projects and requires teamwork across offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent; related experience accepted.
• 8 years of industry experience.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet critical deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Establish Work Teams.
• Attend client/design meetings.
• Make assignments and delegate scope.
• Solicit vendors and prepare bid strategies.
• Utilize BIM for quantity take-offs.
• Develop bid strategies for projects.
• Create subcontractor solicitation lists.
• Review all take-off and pricing; compile estimates.
