Responsibilities

• Establish work teams and attend client/design meetings.
• Develop bid strategies and solicitation lists for subs.
• Utilize BIM for quantity take-offs and price reviews.
• Coordinate subcontractor pricing and coverage of all work scopes.
• Review tab sheets and take-offs; lead tab sheet reviews.
• Support negotiations of subcontracts and purchasing major project aspects.
• Assist in developing project cost budgets and turnover meetings.
• Contribute to value management and preconstruction deliverables.

POSITIONSUMMARY:

The Senior Estimator has a focus on companywidesuccess in adherence to MCC Standards and all preconstruction activitiesnecessary for the preparation and undertaking of all of Manhattan’s preconstruction services. The position isresponsible for compiling estimates & driving precon deliverables tobudget. The Senior Estimator must be a flexible andadaptable team player and have strong communication and client service skills. In addition, the skill set of owning one’s work & being confident in the messagebeing delivered is crucial to this role.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in the RMP process (ATP - precon forecasters& ATB Reviews)
• Compile & Review all Take-Off and Pricing
• Combine / Review Estimates
• Review all sub-lists with operations team members;Assist in complying with prequalification standards
