Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Estimator – Residential to lead comprehensive preconstruction estimates for large multi-family, HUD, OFHA, and senior housing projects. You will manage the estimating lifecycle and present cost data directly to clients.

Relocation assistance is available; strong collaboration with owners, architects, and subcontractors is essential as you leverage takeoffs, pricing, and value engineering to develop competitive bids.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of estimating experience in large multi-family residential projects.
• HUD and OFHA estimating guidelines experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills for subcontractor engagement and client trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead, create, and complete full project estimates across large multi-family, HUD, OFHA, and senior housing projects.
• Set up qualified subcontractor bid lists and drive participation by calling subs.
• Perform detailed on-screen takeoffs with current market pricing.
• Research materials and pricing to develop value engineering options with costs.
• Develop preliminary preconstruction schedules and staffing estimates.
• Prepare cost presentations and maintain relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
